Game Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team.
As a Game Marketing Manager, you will work in close collaboration with internal teams (artists, devs, designer, community manager) as well as external partners to creatively and effectively promote our games and get results.

Position Overview

You will help drive the success of our games by growing the users, their engagement and increasing revenue, working closely with the team to create exciting contents, manage social media accounts, engage with our community and analyze campaign performance. The ideal candidate have a passion for games and extensive experience in game marketing, has launched games worldwide and has excellent first-hand experience of user acquisition and performance marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, benchmarking and consumer studies to identify the game target audience and define its positioning, marketing pillars and USP.
  • Maintain the game brand identity (title, packaging, tone of voice, marketing storytelling…)
  • Develop marketing programs across various channels (including paid search, social media, pr, influencers)
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels, including through the direct management of the Community Manager
  • Work with internal and external partners to create engaging contents and promotional assets for the game (trailers, web assets, screenshots, store descriptions, social media contents…)
  • Participate in game development by making recommendations to improve user experience, engagement, retention, shareability, and to better integrate in-game promotional events and marketing mechanisms
  • Own, manage, create and execute campaign performance, in collaboration with our partners, to maximise return on ad spend and support all monetisation efforts.
  • Track and analyse all performance and user data to inform your product development and marketing decisions.

 

Skills and experience

  • Experience in marketing & user acquisition, ideally in online entertainment or social products
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, finance, business or other quantitative field
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, analytical and automation tools
  • Knowledge and passion for video games from hardcore gamers titles to casual social games, and entertainment as a whole
  • Strong analytical skills with a meticulous mind
  • Creative spirit capable of creating innovative marketing programs that are result-oriented
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Talented communicator with an excellent grasp of the English language
  • Fluent in Italian
  • Strong prioritisation, organisation, and project management skills
  • Knowledge of or passion for VR/AR & Web3 industry would be advantage
